How we use cookies
Like most modern websites, TechSavy uses cookies and similar technologies. This page explains what they are, which ones we set, and how to manage them.
What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, and display options) over time. We also use related technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage for the same purpose.
Cookies we use
| Category | Name | Storage | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | PHPSESSID | Session cookie, on app.techsavysl.com only | Keeps you logged in to the application. Cannot be disabled. |
| Strictly necessary | ts_cookie_consent | Browser localStorage | Remembers that you have dismissed this cookie notice, so it is not shown again. |
| Functional | techsavy_lang | Browser localStorage | Remembers your language choice (English, French or Spanish) between visits. |
We do not currently run any analytics or marketing trackers on this site. Google Analytics was removed on 26 July 2026 after an internal audit found it was loading without a proper prior-consent mechanism. If we reintroduce analytics or advertising cookies in the future, this page will be updated first, and a genuine opt-in consent banner — blocking those scripts until you accept — will be put in place before they load.
Managing cookies and local storage
You can clear cookies and localStorage at any time through your browser settings (Settings › Privacy). Clearing the session cookie on app.techsavysl.com will log you out of the application; clearing the others just resets your language preference and shows this cookie notice again on your next visit.
